Guidelines

For external users:

Please create new account with all the details.
It is mandatory to upload your National photo and official IDs (jpeg/png format).
Upon registration, you will receive an email to verify the account.
Once your account is verified by the BRF admin you will be able to login to the website.
If you do not hear from BRF admin within two days, please contact brf@jncasr.ac.in

For JNCASR users:

Sign in using your JNCASR email ID. No other email will be accepted.

• Each Lab can book one time slot per instrument per day.
• This will allow sharing of resources to all groups needing these equipment in a uniform way.
• Details regarding the experiment, laser type, antibodies used etc can be specified in slot request form.
• Booking can be done up to 2 weeks in advance. The calendar is not open for booking beyond 2 weeks at any point.
• Booking is not possible on Public Holidays and Sundays.
• Booking is not possible on alternative Saturdays.
• On Saturday the Time Slots 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM are available, beyond are not available

• Cancellation Rules are applied to allow users to use resources in a responsible way. The time slots are made available to all users upon cancellation by any user.
• Users are allowed to cancel bookings which are more than 24 hours before the start i.e. anything beyond one day from current day.
• These cancellations do not have any penalty.
• Penalty is applied for cancellations of slots which are less than 24 hours to start.

• The user might sometimes need assistance in their booking or cancellation due to emergencies and other restrictions to the system.
• Confocal appoints Coordinators / Representative to help in such situations
• Confocal Coordinator can make Booking or Cancel an existing booking on your behalf.
• Booking and Cancellations rules remain the same as per normal user booking
